Product Area(s): PESystems, Inc. provides full range Acquisition Management, Financial Management, Contracting, Engineering, Administrative, Configuration Management and Security Management support to the 312 AESG’s F-16 FMS program to supplement government organic resources at ASC Wright-Patterson AFB OH. PESystems securtiy management and Information Assurance (IA) staff integrates flexible, cost-effective, and threat-based security processes, plans and procedures to protect each critical weapon system during its life-cycle, from Pre-milestone A through the final phases of the program. We analyze security procedures and coordinate recommended solutions on security deficiencies with Program Office security personnel. We assist with the implementation of the Information Security program to ensure classified material is protected. We develop Security Standards and Requirements, assist with identifying CPI, assessing program threats, analyzing system vulnerabilities and recommending alternative cost-effective security countermeasures that meet security objectives within the overall system design and program strategy, and conduct technical evaluations of Automated Information Systems (AIS) and other electronic equipment which has electronic storage capability or processes classified data, to include SAR information; evaluate AIS Standard Practice Procedures (SPPs), report on system vulnerabilities, associated security risk and compliance with DoD, Air Force and local regulatory requirements.

Product Area(s): PESystems provided program/project management, IT infrastructure, Windows and Unix systems administration, desktop and 24x7 help desk services, web site design, administration, and management, Information Assurance (IA), disaster recovery planning and other information technology support to the Information Management Division of the Deputy Chief of Staff for Information (DCSIM) of the Military Surface Deployment and Distribution Command (SDDC) under a performance-based delivery order contract from 1 April 2003 through 30 September 2008. The SDDC infrastructure consists of fiber-optic backbone (Cat 5) with fast Ethernet bus topology with 260 Windows and Unix servers supporting Intel-based user workstations in a “Thin Client” operating environment. Each SDDC location is linked via DOD’s NIPRNET creating the SDDC WAN of approximately 5000 system-wide users, with 800 users at the SDDC Headquarters in Arlington, VA. In addition to NIPRNET WAN connectivity, select Intel and Sun workstations are interconnected via DOD’s SIPRNET forming the classified portion of the SDDC WAN. Desktop and server applications are primarily Microsoft-based integrated with government mission applications and databases.
