Communication-Electronics Command (CECOM) awards iBASEt $66M task order

Foothill Ranch, CA – October 3, 2006 – Communication-Electronics Command (CECOM) awarded a $66M task order to iBASEt as a member of the SRA International/Galaxy Scientific Corporation Team.  Tasking is to provide services and support for NetCentric Data Environment (NDE) for business transformation under the Rapid Response (CR2) contract and has four option periods through 2011.

The Department of Defense’s transformation and modernization initiatives require a broad range of expertise across the business and technology spectrum in order to create, align, implement and sustain an environment and supporting infrastructure that is capable of supporting the execution of critical business processes. These initiatives will transform the Enterprise into a world-class, business-driven, capability-centric organization.

“iBASEt has significant, proven experience in these areas,” said Tim Martin, vice president and general manager of iBASEt’s federal division.  “This contract will continue our capability to provide innovative Enterprise solutions enabling the government to transition, transform and modernize their NetCentric Data Environment.”

To that end, iBASEt is proud to support DoD in actively implementing net-centricity across the enterprise, in order to achieve desired unified operational capabilities.  Combining iBASEt’s experience in this area with a flexible contract vehicle that can be utilized to perform and support a wide range of business transformation related materials and services will assist the DoD in attaining its goal.
